9:3. அப்பொழுது ராஜா: தேவன் நிமித்தம் நான் சவுலின் குடும்பத்தாருக்குத் தயைசெய்யும்படி அவன் வீட்டாரில் யாதொருவன் இன்னும் மீதியாய் இருக்கிறானா என்று கேட்டதற்கு, சீபா ராஜாவைப் பார்த்து: இன்னும் யோனத்தானுக்கு இரண்டு கால்களும் முடமான ஒரு குமாரன் இருக்கிறான் என்றான்.

9:3. அரசன், "சவுலின் குடும்பத்தில் யாராவது உயிரோடிருக்கிறார்களா? தேவனுடைய இரக்கத்தை நான் அவனுக்குக் காட்ட வேண்டும்" என்றான். தாவீதிடம், "யோனத்தானுக்கு இரு கால்களும் முடமான ஒரு மகன் இருக்கிறான்" என்று சீபா சொன்னான்.

9:3. The king asked, "Is there not someone left from Saul's family, that I may extend God's kindness to him?" Ziba said to the king, "One of Jonathan's sons is left; both of his feet are crippled."
